How to Print Multiple Slides on One Page
PowerPoint now has the “Print Multiple Slides” per page feature, where you only need to select the right options on settings, and you print.
You can achieve that by going to Files >> Print >> Settings >> Slides, then click on the drop-down menu and select the right options.
Check for the “Handouts” option, the one with (3 slides per page) with space for adding notes and slides to the single page.
However, if the PowerPoint version on your system does not have the above features and options, then you can make use of Word.
Here, you can use Microsoft Word to create handouts having multiple slides and allows notes on one page.
Let’s see the steps to achieve that below;
- Open the PowerPoint Page having all the slide notes.
- Click on the File tab located on the ribbon.
- From the list on the left side, click Export.
- Click Create Handouts.
- Select Create Handouts.
- Then, click the Create Handouts button.
Now, a dialog box will appear, showing “Send to Microsoft Word.”
- From the first options, select Notes next to slides.
- And from the second option, select Paste.
- Then, Click on the OK button.
Note: If you made any edit to your slides, then you need also to select Paste Link from the second option so it will automatically update the changes you made.
And any changes you made to the slides in PowerPoint will be updated in the Word file.
Hence, if you select Outline Only, the Paste Link option will not be available, and no changes will be updated to the outlines or slide notes.
While importing your slides to Word, you need to be patient because it might take a few minutes, mostly if the slides are many.
However, every single page has three slides, along with their notes on default.
So, to add more slides on one page, you then adjust the margin sizes and the slides to change the number of slides to fit on the page.
