Happy Days

I wasn’t supposed to be writing a “proper” blog entry tonight but I cannot resist. The Monday review will be tomorrow. Hey, it’s my blog, I can do what I like.

So today was the first day of a two week stretch of work experience in the Junior School today. Mostly I helped out where I could with the kids were pleased to hear I’m in all week. I also learnt how to use the photocopier which is another key life skill I need to hold on to. Of course that’s about all I can tell you about my day there as obviously it’s not right to talk about it but I don’t see anything wrong in vaguely mentioning what I did. I felt that though it wasn’t brilliant time in the classroom the discussions I had with the teacher taught me quite a lot. I’ve suddenly regained that excitement about becoming a teacher that seemed to disappear for a little while. Now we’re back in business.

I arrived home absolutely exhausted from a day on my feet and a reasonably long walk home in the baking sun. Having done very little for the past three weeks my body has become accustomed to little activity. It is going to have to get used to it again though. Shortly after arriving home I had to pop into town with my Dad (and for some unknown reason my brother too) to buy some shirts as my normal one would be pretty smelly by the end of the week. I got a lovely selection. I really enjoy buying new clothes which is one of the many stereotypical gay traits I have. If you were to describe a stereotypical gay man and then me, you realise that there are many similarities. Of course I love my ladies but I always think that I seem to many people as rather homosexual. I’ve gone off the point now. Basically, I bought some nice shirts.

This evening I went to the gym AGAIN! Exercise four days running is unheard off. I got up to forty-five minutes today and I rather enjoyed it. My badminton coach was there and gave me a tip on how many RPM I should have on the bike’s which helped me focus a lot as did my iPod playing some wonderful tunes at me, despite the rather rubbish quality I heard them at thanks to my rubbish headphones (I must get/find some new ones). I enjoyed exercise. Also I am pretty sure that a girl a couple of machines along kept glancing in my direction. Which was also nice.

A couple of hello’s now. First to the anonymous regular reader (you forgot to leave your name silly bean). Hello. And second to the (probably) lovely Miss Anon. Hello.

As you might be able to tell from the tone of this writing, I am in an immense mood. It has been weeks since I felt as good as this. I await tomorrow with baited breath in the hope it will be even better. You will be getting a Monday review tomorrow, promise. Night gorgeous people!
