Don’t Give Away All Your Heart

I never know how to start a Wednesday blog entry. But I’ve started it now so there you go.

Eng Lit. Another English lesson, some more poems to look at! In fact the two poems we looked at were W.B. Yeats Never Give all the Heart and A.E. Housman’s When I was one-and-twenty and they are very similar poems. They both say that you shouldn’t put too much into love and with my recent experiences I can relate to that. Out of the two I prefer Yeats as it is more emotional than humorous as Housman’s is.

During my free I quickly scribbled out of a poem of my own called Feelings which you can read here.

History. Our coursework is so nearly over and Mrs R still managed to rip parts of mine apart. At least the end is nigh.

My time at junior school was really good and I felt like a proper teacher as I was whizzing around the classroom helping kids make bags. Great fun and very rewarding, as ever.

This evening I put together a little video of random things I’ve recorded lately, and here it is:

And another exciting chapter in my video-making career has begun with this little announcement, but you will have to wait til July to find out more.

This evening I spent quite a while talking to my friend Ashland which was nice.

Tomorrow is General Election day so for the first time I will be voting and we might have a new Prime Minister. I will let you know how the voting experience goes and will also blog live about the announcement of the winner!
