The End of August
This will be my last blog entry for August, doesn't time fly? Another day with Gemma today nothing extra exciting to report but still had a lovely day.
September brings sixth form, a party and who knows what else?
Now occasionally I get bored and do those random quizzes you see on Facebook notes and to stop them clogging up this page I have put them into a new blog which can be found here.

Three Days with Gemma
I have had an extremly amazing couple of days with Gemma and here are a few highlights:
Going for a walk. A lovely walk round the lake sat on our hill. Hehe.
Playing Games. Including Destination and Rumble in the Jungle
Watching DVDs, such as Shrek 2 randomly still funny after all this time.
Spending time together. It's nice to spend time together while the holidays are still ongoing and I have had a lovely few days.

Sun, Sand, boats and planes
So today was my second say at the Air Show and things became interesting when Gemma's brother and sister decided to buy a rubber raft boat thing. Much to my dismay I ended up going out in it and enjoyed it. We capsized causing me to drink sea water and bang my head and nearly crashed into a groyne. That sounds painful. Even the word groyne sounds painful.
The air show itself was a bit of a disapointment today as there were no parachutists and the red arrows didn't do there full display but the beach was fun at least.
On the way home we stopped for dinner at a Toby Carvery and had a wonderful meal which was lovely.

Bournemouth Air Show
What a bizarre day!
Obviously I went to the Bournemouth Air Show, with Gemma and family and mostly sat on the beach for the day. However we did go on a walk between Bournemouth and Boscombe pier and collected loads of freebies such as flags and boxes of Shreddies. On our return to the beach we used the flags and a windmill on a 4-part castle complete with castle runway. See photos here.
The show itself was quite good though after a while of seeing planes fly back and forth it got a bit boring. However as always the Red Arrows stole the show and I realised you must be insane to fly one of those especially when they fly at each other and pull out at the last minute. They really look like they're going to crash!
And I'm doing it all again tomorrow and you'll be able to read about it in a blog entry with a title related to sand...

Results ahoy!
Well the time finally came to open the dreaded envelope to see my AS-level results. They were OK would have hoped for better but they will do:
Eng Lit and History: C
Geology: D
Biology: E
So now I have officially dropped Biology woo!
I spent the rest of the day with my lovely Gemma which was great as always. Get ready to see another amusing picture in my Summer 2009 album tomorrow too!
Finally Usain Bolt has won the 200m at the World Athletics Championships claiming the world record once again but he still wasn't on top form. That record could be smashed in the future!

Pre-results nerves
So tomorrow I get my AS level results. Hopefully all shall be fine but potentially if there bad my entire life could change. There is no way I am repeating the year so failure would involve going to get a job and my teaching dream would shatter. But there you go. I'm not the only one as failure statues are flooding Facebook this evening, with my fave being from Josh:
"Getting ready for the fail whale... oh if only the fail whale really did give out results, I'd actually be looking forward to it :O"
In other news some interesting goings on at the World Athletics Championships. Our own Meadows won Bronze in the women's 800m with the winner of that race South Africa's Caster Semenya being the subject of pre-race controversy over a possible gender test. So the winner might be a man. Time to go on Sickipedia me thinks.
And finally in football it was great to see Burnley beat the "almighty" Man Utd 1-0. Rofl!

General Views on Life
This entry has come up due to things that had happened and will probaly be very long but bare with me and we might go to some deep places.
I started this blog a long time ago and I never really did it for a particular reason, I just did it. But I think deep down the reason was that I want to share my life experiences with others, whether good or bad and perhaps teach someone something along the way.
I see myself as a good person but I am still a human being and I make mistakes. Any human being is capable of evil but they have to control that capability and not use it. We also have the capability to jump of a cliff but bad things would happen if we did it.
Everyone is equal. That's a fundamental view of mine. No matter what race, colour, ability, sexual orientation or religion we are all humans.
It's very hard to put thoughts down on paper. I particularly failed at doing that earlier on and someone out there on the internet knows how and it is them that has driven me to write this random thing.
Friends and family make a man who he is. So do experiences. Some things that have happened to me in my relatively short life will affect my entire life.
Who knows where I'm going here I am just drifting off saying stuff that belongs in my head not scattered around the internet. This all stems from one lil mistake where I carelessly chose my words and made some one at best a little annoyed at worst angry. This has not helped in the slightest but hey it might be interesting if you've read it.

Random Gathering No. 2- Bournemouth
With Sammy and Julia unable to come Me, Gemma, Chris and Gemma's friend Fiona went into Bournemouth.
Firstly a note on Fiona think. Gemma has known her for years but today was the first time I've ever met her but it didn't take long before she was slapping me so I think I made a good first impression. Though I wound her up I have to admit she's actually quite nice :)
We ended up going to the cinema and the only film we could really see was Land of the Lost starring Will Ferrell. It was pretty good and rather amusing and some scenes involving a scientist, a fat guy and a monkey-person reminded me and Chris of lunch times with DCM.
Overall though today was pretty good and plans are already in place for not one but two random gatherings once I'm back of holiday plus a little party/BBQ at Gemma's house in September.

Ikea and Roast dinner
This morning I lost my Ikea virginity today as I went to Southampton to help my mum and dad get a desk for my brother. Whilst I was there I managed to persuade them to buy me a new desk chair and it is so much better than the last one, and it has wheels so no more feet!
This afternoon I headed to Gemma's and had a lovely roast dinner complete with the most delicious food, parsnips. How awesome. Had a lovely afternoon with Gemma too.
