So today I ended up going on another weird day out with Gemma and her family, this time to the Bovington Tank Museum. Surprisingly we saw a lot of tanks. The show was a bit disappointing though cos due to a horse show they weren't allowed to use pyrotechnics that day. Still quite a fun trip, here's some pics:
Also we ended up going crabbing which was really fun:

DCM Bicycle Excursion
So today was the day of the hugely awaited DCM Bicycle Excursion. Me, Chris and Mike got on our bikes and went off into the forest. After visiting Picket Post, Linford Bottom and Moyles Court we managed to get lost which was annoying. We were thirsty, out of drink and in the middle of no-where. Eventually we left the wooded area and found we were in a place called Milkford. Helpful. We continued along the road and eventually found the High Corner Inn. This was a place to stop and have a drink and it also meant we knew where we were. It was extremly hard work but a very fun day.

Night at the Museum 2

Bank holiday Monday and my gap from revision was going with my family to see a stupid comedy. For a sequel it was good but it didn't make me chuckle as much as the first one and tried to be a bit over serious. There's one scene where it virtually turns into The Mummy. But I suppose it wasn't too bad.

Dinner was at Nando's where I chose to have a "hot" meal which wasn't as mouth burning as I'd thought it'd be. Nice dinner in the end.

So I have to start revising again?
Friday today, two days after my geology exam and I suppose I should do some work. Next Thursday is taken of the schedule by a DCM Bicycle Excursion and so is another day next week to spend the day with Gemma as with Saturday. So probaly I have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Sunday, Monday morning before exams again. That's six and a bit days. Oh dear. Perhaps I shouldn't sit around doing nothing but actually do some revision. I don't want to though, I hate biology. At least I'm not doing it next year.
So plans for today, it's half ten already so not long left.
10:30-11am: Organise DCM Excursion
11-12am: REVISE
12-2pm: Lunch.
2-3pm: REVISE
3-5pm: Talk on Computer/Revise if possible.
5-8pm: Tea and DS.
8-10pm: Badminton
10-10:30pm: Relax
10:30pm: Bed.
Well I'm glas I've sorted that out!

Triple Exams 1#
8:50- English Literature Exam. The first line of the extract began with "In the bed, my parents are faunicating". It was some autobiography by a man called Swofford and was really easy to compare. The poetry question was not too bad either even if it was "heart of the collection"
After this I went round Gemma's cos it was somewhere to go between exams.
1pm- I went to see Mrs R who then went through my history mock. Suffice to say there's room for improvement.
1:40- Geology exam. Quiet hard but not too bad, should have at least got a decent mark.
3:40- Geology resit. It was so much easier this time around now I've revised.
So 3 down, 4 to go. I'm getting there. Tommorrow is my day off so expect a blog entry, including the Apprentice.
Oh and this blog has now been going about a year. We moved back in January so if you want to read old entries go to this site and click on "older entries". Enjoy a look back at my history.

Eurovision 2009
So over in Moscow this year with a new voting system. There was typical comedy with certain countries song's check the dancers Moldova had:
Very funny. My fave song was Azerbaijan'a Always:
So did the new voting system make any difference? Well, a bit. Norway stormed to the lead with a ridiculous number of points which was annoying as the guy has a face you really want to slap. We (the UK) came a respectable fifth, our highest since 1991, which is not too bad considering we have no friends nearby. The political voting was watered down a bit but still the Balkan countries voted for each other as did the scandanavians. But all in all most of the songs were of quite a high quality so well done Europe!

Star Trek
Gemma and I went into Bournemouth today to see Star Trek. Before we went to the cinema I bought the new Green Day album and a DS game to keep me occupied.
So was the film any good? YES. It was set up so you didn't have to be a Star Trek geek to understand what was going on. Everything about it was amazing: great acting, amazing special effects, awesome music and a brilliant story. I really did love it.
Today is the last day I get to see the outside world before my exams on Wednesday so I doubt I'll have anything to blog you, but when I do I'll let you know.
Live long and prosper! V

Wormy Friday
Hiya peeps. Today was the day I finally ended up doing the worm survey with a year 7 science class. This was going to be a few weeks ago but Miss H is so disorganised it was today. The survey was run by Opal (website here) and involved digging up worms and identifying them. Doing this with an excited year 7 class was very amusing. I actually really enjoyed myself and it’ll look good on my CV for when I apply to do a teaching course. The highlight for me was when one kid tripped over the hole he dug and got absolutely drenched, meaning he had to wear his PE kit for the rest of the day. Hilarious.
Today was the last day of year 12 and it seems a bit early. We’re into study leave now with my first exam on Wednesday which will be hard work. I think this is the first time I’ve ever really been that nervous about an exam before as I have a genuine chance of doing badly (I got two E’s in January if you remember). So I must wish myself good luck and bid you farewell. I’ll see you very soon, hopefully.

What I've been up to...
Hello you bloggers. I'm sorry that I've not done many entries recently but I have so much work to do with my AS exams starting in a weeks time. My main occupation at the moment is revision and this blog and DWW have to be less important. I'll try my best to update this blog every now and then and will let you know how the exams are going.
Recent DCM news first and it's on me doing my best to set CM up with relationships. I nicked Mike's phone and text his would be girlfriend Bex on it and basically said he was shy and wants to go out with her. She sadly rejected him though.
Now I set Chris up in a slightly more jokey way by telling Jade Earl that Chris fancies her. That might not be the whole truth so sorry about that (and yes she really does believe me).
Someone has rather annoyed me and Gemma recently, I won't mention any names but some friend you are!
This Friday I am finally doing the worm survey with a Year 7 class which should be interesting. The final Auschwitz assembly went very well, in fact so well we've got to do it to the rest of our yeargroup after exams. And I got another Gold Award for doing the assemblies- I still don't know what a gold award is but I've got two of them now.
And just because I mentioned a zombie once in a tweet I have a new follower called LostZombies
That's it for now more soon, hopefully Friday.
