P1: Biology. Signing off stuff and "hat" plants.
P2: Eng Lit. Angela's Ashes.
P3/4: Geology. Identifying rocks and metamorphic structures.
I then went to Gemma's for half an hour to see if she's OK. Last night her brother kicked her and she had to go A and E. She has some tissue damage but should be fine. My usual Wednesday night with her has been postphoned 'til tomorrow.
In case you havn't noticed this week's blog titles are lyrics from the Hoosiers Worst Case Scenario. I dunno weather I will change songs tommorow though...

Being happy's only for the wealthy
P1/2: History. After busily rushing my homework this morning I was glad I did it. Today was more of the 2nd Republic.
P3/4: Geology. Instead of coursework like we expected we did more about clear shallow seas.
P5/6: Eng Lit. More boring Owen Sheer's poetry.
This advert made me laugh when I saw it last night:
The funny bit is the good porcelin doggy bit.
So Swine Flu is spreading across the world. The good thing at least is that it no-one has died of it outside Mexico. Hopefully, it'll stay that way and won't be a problem. I think it must spread around Mexico so easily in their sombero's. Anyway I will let you bloggers know if we all die. (Cos of course there is no other news source on t'internet).

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly(Mike)
P1: Biology. Zoos. And I seem to know a lot about wolves for some reason.
P2: English Lit. Some autobio book.
P3/4: Geology. Magma aureoles. Keeps reminding me of biscuits Oreo's...
The Good: Had an amazing time with my girlfriend Gemma this evening which was awesome.
The Bad: I am majorly failing at the moment my father is phoning up the school at some point and then it'll be talks with Mr. W and co.
The Ugly: Well, Mike. Couldn't resist that chance.
And if you want to see something cos your board try looking at this Blue Tit in a birdbox here.

Saturday night's all right
I spent most of the day asleep today after a long, long day in London yesterday. I did do some work this evening though, the essay about Louis-Philippe is getting there.
I spent a good long time on MSN talking to various people. Cassie is not very happy at the moment but I tried my best to cheer her up and hope I made at least a little difference. Mike seemed to somehow piss Cassie off so that wasn't helping. And to everyone's surprise Mike is interested in a girl! OMG!
And I have put some photos of London on t'internet and here's a comment Cassie made about a pic of me and Gemma which made me smile:
awwwwww cutest couple ever!!!
i hope you always stay together because i swear your made for each other :D xxx

LONDON!
The highlight of my Easter holidays by miles was today where me and Gemma went to London for the day. Unfortunatly it involved two long National Express coach journeys but was awesome.
We first walked up to Buckingham Palace and had a good nose around there as we did at the Houses of Parliament. We then walked towards the London Eye, passing a load of living statues which was amusing. We had an amazing flight on the eye, seeing the whole of London from the sky. Then we saw London from boat with loads of useless facts along the way. We had a nice trip around the Tower of London too before a few more rides along the tube. Throughly amazing day!

Monkey World
Today I went with Gemma and her family to Monkey World which was quite fun. Most of the monkeys were outside which was good and some were a right laugh. We saw tiny lil Bart, the chimp I adopted for Gemma, and she loved him. He is two and is still tiny- full marks on the cute factor. Other highlights of the day included Rodders the chimp clapping and the adventure playground.
Here's cute little Bart, being cute.

I am dead
Wow, it's good Friday again. Hot cross buns FTW. Of course right now I am busy "working". That's "working". Ok, I lie I will start a history essay later, I promise.
So as you can probaly guess, I have very little to actually tell you about today. Earlier on Facebook I took a quiz called "When will you die?" and the result was:

Dan took the when will you die?? quiz and the result is 19th october , 2008
you just have a moment!~!
So I'm dead? Nobody bothered to let me know. Something tells me that quiz is not very accurate.

Paul Blart Mall Cop
My brother wanted to see this and that's why I ended up seeing it. Here's my review:
Paul Blart Mall Cop sees Kevin James play a security guard at a shopping mall who takes his job extremely seriously. He is desperate for a woman but can’t help messing it up when a chance comes to seduce the lovely Amy. Downhearted, Paul continues with his job and has to face the security threat of the century by himself. Most of the comedy was very slapstick and for the kids but I did utter the odd chuckle at times. The story was extremely predictable but still enjoyable and for a kids film it was pretty good. Seen better and I’ve seen a lot worse. 3 Stars.
And here's a haiku about it I ended up writing on Plinky:
Paul Blart Mall Cop is
A film for the family
Which is very fun.

Pimp That Snack!
So, what is today all about then? I am supposed to be doing what is known as the academic world as revision but as usual not one part of my brain thinks it can be bothered. So, what to do instead?
Well Episode 32 of Dan's Wacky World appears online now as you can probaly see above this blog entry.
Right, so the title says Pimp That Snack does it not? What is Pimp That Snack? Well it's a website where loads of people turn traditional snacks into whole meals. And no this wasn't something that I just randomly thought I'd share with you. It came from Facebook where Lewis Broadway has pimped a wagon wheel:

I thought this was an excellent effort and is probaly as good or maybe even better than the actual pimp that snack version:

Moving on to other snacks, this one is a dream come true:
This creme egg is 8 inches tall and is 2.25kg which is huge!
And here's a few more amazing snacks:

Flake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jaffa Cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sleeping, F1 and the environment
The fact that it's the Easter holidays gave me the chance to lie in today which was good. Once I was properly awake I had the fun chore of soring through the million pieces of paper on my floor and throughout the house and filing them into the right subject's folder. Not really fun. My plans for the rest of the day consist of playing on my Wii and this evening going for a walk with Gemma.
I am once again pleased that Jenson Button won the Grand Prix after the race in Malaysia which was abandoned half way through. I would love it if he won, that would properly show Lewis Hamilton wouldn't it?
In absence of things to write about today I turned to my good friend www.plinky.com Their prompt today is about being environmentally friendly. Now I believe in doing this- energy saving light bulbs, turning things off, recycling,etc,etc- but sometime I wonder if there's any point. Sure, if we all did it we'd save the planet but the point is no matter what there will still be a load of lazy people who can't be bothered. It takes all of us to do it, not to leave it to someone else.
And I have a dutch follower on Twitter who seems to be following most of the people on Twitter, meet him here.
That's about it for now so I'll see you tommorow!

The Grand National 2009
Hello welcome to another blog entry! Today I went with Gemma down town to get some photos printed off and I spent the rest of the day at Gemma's and had a throughly good time. And if you ever have no make dinner for me may I suggest not Spaghetti bolognese because I can't help but spill it down me.
Today was the Grand National as you probaly know and I had a horse in my mum's work's sweepstake called The Fundamentalist. When I looked it up in the paper to my dismay I discovered it was 150/1. In the end it did not finish as it "pulled up" at fence 21. You can see a video here and note how my horse is not mentioned throughout the whole race, even when it fell.
Finally, it's nice to see Gemma has entered the Twitter trend and you can see her profile here.

Hygienists at Easter
P1: History. We answered an exam question which was quite hard but I think I did OK.
P3/4: Biology. Miss H taught us some plant stuff and we vaguely moved on to the final section about the role of zoos. Apparently on 24th April we're going on a Biology revision trip at Sussex Uni which will be dull.
Head of 6th Form Mr. W stopped me as I wandered into the 6th Form block this morning saying he wants to see me after Easter. I wonder which of my crimes he wants to see me about or is it something completly different (seems unlikely). The plot thickens!
I had to go and see the hygienist today. It's at Twnyham and took ages to get there as the council is busy spending its money before the 5th April deadline. The hygienist was a nice lady but several things confused me. Do dentists have a list of things to say to patients? As soon as her computer told her I was 17 it was "Are you driving then?" and she went on all the time. I hate going to the dentist.
I am so glad it's the Easter holidays! Let the fun (and revision) begin!
People I would be happy to get stuck in an elevator with:
Gemma:For obvious reasons if me and her got stuck in an elevator it would be OK.
Chris and Mike: We would have a laugh and say some disgusting things, especially if it was a Thursday lunchtime.
