P3/4: Geology. I miserably failed my courseowrk exam.
P5/6: Eng Lit. Poetry stuff and essay question.

I woke up this morning with a blocked up nose and a sore throat. Also my stomach has been spinning like a tumble dryer all day.

At lunch today we had a plastic bottle fight at DCM land, here's a vid:

The return of The Apprentice

P1: Biology. The circus man took us and we used garlic to inhibit the growth of e-coli.
P2:Eng Lit. More Caged Bird.
P3/4: Geology. More cool stuff on volcanoes.

I then had Gemma round for the evening and whilst she was there watching I completed the story of House of the Dead Overkill and it has the sickest end- but you'll have to complete it to find out I'm not telling you.

And The Apprentice was back tonight and already I have found someone to not like. James Mcquillan from the boys and Mona Lewis from the girls. And goodbye to Anita but your accounting was rubbish!

The fun is in the giving

Today Gemma and I went into Bournemouth to get various presents for people. I got mum the new Lee Mead CD for tomorrow- Mother's day if you've forgotten- and got an amusing card for Gemma's mum whose birthday is Monday. Also last night I worked out what I'm getting Gemma for her birthday on the 30th March and I know she'll like it.

This evening I am looking after the kid next door, for which I get paid. It's not a bad life at times is it?

I'm a sensible guy and I care about climate chamge a fair bit so it would have to be the Prius every time!

Last night was rather amusing as DCM each had a text convo with "Martha" who is just Cassie's old phone. It was so so funny we were all wetting ourselves laughing.

What city would I retire to if money were no object? Well, London.

Well of it had to live in a city it would have to be London. It has such a chracter and is just an awesome place

I turn 17

I had such a great birthday today first it began with prezzies:
Mother and Father: House of the Dead, Mario Power Tennis, Pikmin, Memory Stick.
Gemma: A cruise round London and flight on London Eye.

Then a load of us went to Tower Park bowling and Pizza Hutting. We had a great laugh and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially me.

It was so amazing.

We attempt to scare Cassie

What's the best prank ever. Well, here's what we tried the other day.

It wasn't that great but the other day me and Tim told Cassie that Chris was hanging out the 2nd floor window on her scarf. The scarf was hung out the window with Tim holding on to it. I think there was only belief for a microsecond, but hey.

P1: Geology. We got our results for the January exam. I got the lowest score in the class, 49. It turned out later once the grade boundaries were worked out it's a D. Time for a resit methinks.
P2: Biology. The pain of bad exam results continued as I got an E. So I'll have to resit both. Blimey, I'm stupid.
P4: Town and then sorting out resit forms.
P5: Eng Lit 1. We watched some of Simon Schama's American Future: A history.
P6: Eng Lit 2. The last coursework lesson. Whoop!

Let's Varve it up

My internet was down yesterday which was why there is no blog entry for it. I got annoyed because I spent hours on my Biology coursework and only got 17/40. Miss H might want me to bin it and do a completly new one. A solution to my anguish was to go home and eat lots of unhealthy food.

Anyway, let's move on to today.
P1/2: History. Who opposed Louis-Philipe? Well republicans, Bonapartists and some other group who I can't remember right at this second.
P3/4: Geology. Didn't do our coursework as previously planned, did more notes on glacial stuff, including varves- hence the title.
P5/6: English Lit. We studied an Owen Sheers poem and then didn't do a lot else.

Sammy was texting me this afternoon to find out about my birthday and wants to come so Torr better make it possible for him and Sammy to go. Chris has randomly joined Twitter but has no picture or updates yet, but hey, he'll get there. Also a man called Little Man Tate has added me so I investigated them and they're actually pretty good.

Also this evening I had a visit to the dentist who informed me it wasn't my wisdom teeth that came through but sluggish molars. He has said I need to go to the hygienist which I am not looking forward to. And I wonder what that language dentist's use is? What does " Lower Left 2, E5 1, upper right 2, E6 2" mean. Damn the world of dentistry!

Boredom is a dull country

I had very, very little to do today. Well, apart from 3 pieces of homework but it's best left to the last minute don't you think. I went and saw Gemma and nearly got blown away doing so. We're both missing each other a lot at the moment even though we see each other (briefly) at least once a day. I look forward to the time when we'll be living together and I won't have to be doing homework anymore.

Mt fame is increasing with both Barack Obama and 10 Downing Street following on Twitter. Perhaps the knighthood is incoming. But I need the Queen to follow me on Twitter for that and she's not on it. Yet.
Oh, and here's a random thing from a site called Plinky. The question was "Describe any wardrobe changes you make when you get home from work, school, or your other day activities."

I don't have uniform, so what I wear is comfy and cool. No need for a change.

DM Excursion, Salisbury

Chris decided not to come because it was raining although me and Mike didn't get wet at all. We went into every vaguely interesting shop in Salisbury which was fun and went for a large walk around the cathedral. Eventually we returned to my house, and inveitably played on the Wii.

The Weekend begins!

P1: Best not to ask. No really, don't...
P2: English Lit. We read a rather disturbing chapter of Caged Bird in which Maya, aged 8, was raped. Wikipedia describes it best I think:
"Eight-year-old Maya is sexually abused and raped by her mother's boyfriend, Mr. Freeman. He is found guilty during the trial, but Freeman escapes jail time and is murdered, probably by Maya's uncles."
P3/4: Geology. We did our coursework which was an investigation involving filtering water through sand. I think it went alright, which is great.
And after picking up my creme egg Shakeaway from Ash, it was time to go home. We've got two inset days in a row which is great. Unfortunatly later on I have got to go to a 'Higher Education' evening. Check online tommorrow and I'll tell you about it and my trip to Salisbury with Chris and Mike. It's gonna be something else...

Gay Afternoon- Not what you think btw!

P1/2: History. So what did Louis-Philipe actually do?
P3/4: Geology. More sedimentary structures including flute casts.
P5/6: English Lit. We had a gay afternoon- we looked at Brokeback Mountain, Oranges are not the only fruit and The well of lonliness. All about homosexuals. Great fun.

Gemma came round today and we didn't really get up to much apart from thrashing her on Mario Kart. That's beating her in a race, nothing else for those of you with dirty minds (most of you).
